Major fire averted in Gudular as truck laden with gas cylinders caught fire, firemen put out the fire

A major fire accident was averted when fire tenders rushed to the spot and put out the fire in the tyres of a truck which suddenly burst. The truck was laden with gas cylinders.



Nilgiris: A truck laden with gas cylinders caught fire when one of its rear tyre burst, which caused a fire.

However, the driver of the truck alerted the fire service personnel who rushed to the spot and put out the fire.



The truck carrying cylinders was on its way to Rajagopalapuram in Gudalur town when the rear tyre suddenly burst. This led to a fire in the tyre.



The fire tenders who rushed to the spot put out the fire in the tyre and also sprayed water onto the cylinders to prevent the fire from spreading further.



A major accident was averted in Gudalur today due to the timely action of the driver and the fire service personnel who controlled the fire from spreading.
