DVAC Complaint against former Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan

Raghunath has lodged a complaint with DVAC alleging that the former AIADMK minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan had indulged in corrupt practices through his department and in the implementation civic works undertaken in his constituency.



Coimbatore: A complaint has been lodged against former AIADMK minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan at the Department Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) by Raghunath belonging to race Course area.

It may be noted that former ministers including Velumani, Thangamani, Vijayabhaskar, Veeramani and other ministers have been under the scanner of DVAC sleuths for their allegedly irregularities for amassing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income

A similar complaint has been preferred against Udumalai Radhakrishnan, who was minister for Animal husbandry in the previous AIADMK government.

Raghunath has also sent a complaint to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Special Cell demanding action against him for his corrupt practices.

Speaking to the press , Racecourse Raghunath said that several ministers in the previous government were involved in corruption and cases have been registered against them.

Similarly, Udumalai Radhakrishnan, who was the Animal husbandry minister in the previous government, had allegedly committed a corruption to the tune of few crores while awarding works in his constituency including roads and a shelter.

While demanding action against the minister, Raghunath said that he has produced evidence for his allegations. The DVAC police should take appropriate action. “The works carried out in his constituency during his tenure should be re-examined” Raghunath said.
