A TNSTC bus got stuck in a trench dug for drinking water pipeline near Lawley road signal

The wheels of the government bus got stuck in the trenches, which were laid to lay drinking water pipeline on the road. The treches were not properly closed leading to accidents. The transport department staff are busy making efforts to retrieve the bus from the pit.



Coimbatore: A TNSTC bus got stuck in the trenches, which were dug for laying a drinking water pipeline on Coimbatore- Thadagam road, While all the passengers have been evacuated , the transport department staff are busy making efforts to rescue the bus from the pit.



" The trenches have not be closed properly and so some other vehicles, including a van have also got stuck in the pit one after the other" say the residents.



"The public also demanded that the concerned department officials should examine whether the trenches have been properly closed in the stretch immediately" They demanded.
