Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap stated that the public can submit their views and objections within 15 days since the Coimbatore Corporation plans to apply for the Open Defecation Free (ODF) certificate.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation will soon be applying for an Open Defecation Free (ODF) certificate and hence the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap stated that the public can raise their objections within 15 days.
According to a statement issued by the CCMC Commissioner, steps are being taken by the Ministry of Urban And Housing to obtain the Open Defecation Free (ODF) certificate in 100 wards of the Coimbatore Corporation under Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0. An application will first be made to get the Coimbatore Corporation certified as an Open Defecation Free corporation and then if the public wants to raise their objections and opinions, they can submit their suggestions and objections in person or in writing to the Coimbatore Corporation office, within 15 days.
