CCMC Commissioner M Prathap who inspected vegetable markets under Coimbatore South, West and Central zones instructed officials to carry out repairs and restoration works of storm water drains, underground drains etc.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner M Prathap inspected the Sundarapuram Tomato Market, West Zone, Ward No.45, and Mettupalayam Main Road area under South Zone, Ward No.96.
He also inspected the markets located on Mettupalayam Road in Central Zone and the surrounding areas.
M Prathap also directed officials to prepare a suitable project estimate and send it to the Government for the restoration of the road areas where the markets are situated, storm water drains, toilets, underground drains, etc.
Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan, Corporation Deputy Commissioner Sharmila, South Zone President Dhanalakshmi, West Zone President Deivayanai Thamizh Marai, Ruling Party Leader Karthikeyan, Councillors SenthilKumar, Murugesan, Abdul Kader, South Zone Assistant Commissioner Annadurai, West Zone Assistant Commissioner Sekar, Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
