Saravanan, a resident of Manickavasagam Nagar in Rathinapuri, was robbed of his two-wheeler. Based on the CCTV footage, the police are investigating the case.
Coimbatore: Two-wheeler parts are frequently stolen from the rathnapura neighbourhood of Coimbatore district. The police have also registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
Saravanan, a resident of Manickavasagam nagar in Coimbatore, had parked his two-wheeler in front of his house as usual the day before yesterday.

The next morning, when he saw that the vehicle had been damaged and only its spare parts had been stolen, he was shocked.

Saravanan has lodged a complaint with the Rathinapuri police station in this regard. Based on this, the police registered a case and were examining the footage scanned on CCTV cameras in the area.

Visuals recorded in the CCTV camera showed that two persons came on a two-wheeler without a registration number and stole the spare parts. The two-wheeler in which the thieves had come was parked in Anna Nagar area of Sivananda Colony.

When the police reached the spot and investigated, the CCTV footage revealed that the person who had stolen was there.

Following this, Saravanan caught hold of the man and handed him over to the police.
The police have arrested the man and are investigating the matter.
