Following the completion of the works, the Kalaignar Central Bus Stand and the adjoining multi-storeyed parking lot constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.75.43 crore. The opening ceremony of the flower market and Thennampalayam market buildings was held yesterday.
Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the new buildings through video conferencing and dedicated them to the public from the Secretariat in Chennai.
District Collector Vineeth, Mayor Dinesh Kumar, MLA Selvaraj and others were present at the inauguration of the buildings in Tirupur.
