Leopard roaming in Karadivavi area near Palladam - CCTV footage has created a stir

While some people spotted the mysterious animal movement in the Karadivavi pond area next to Palladam, the CCTV footage and footprints confirmed that the leopard was there.


Tiruppur: CCTV footage of a leopard allegedly roaming near Palladam in Tiruppur district has gone viral on social media.

Agriculture, animal husbandry and powerloom have been the main occupations in Karadivavi village next to Palladam.

In this situation, the incident of a leopard roaming in the Nandavana estate area has created panic among the people of the area.

Some people saw a mysterious animal crossing the garden at midnight last night and entering the garden pond in the blink of an eye. Suspecting it to be a leopard, they examined cctv footage from nearby areas.

It turned out that the mysterious animal was a leopard. Following this, a person from the area examined the footprints of the leopard this morning and it was confirmed that it was the footprints of the leopard.

While there were already suspicions of the presence of jackals in the garden pond, the incident of the leopard roaming around has created a lot of fear among the people of the area.

Agriculture and animal husbandry are the main occupations here and there is a dangerous situation not only for livestock but also for human beings.

Therefore, the public have demanded that the forest department should camp and take necessary steps to capture the leopard with a bomb.
