115th Devar Jayanthi: DMK cadres garland portrait of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar in Coimbatore

On the occasion of Devar Guru Pooja and 115 Thevar Jayanthi, DMK district secretary N Karthik led the dmk workers and paid homage to the portrait of Muthuramalinga Thevar in Ramanathapuram.


Coimbatore: On the occasion of 115th Thevar Jayanthi and Thevar Guru Pooja, DMK cadres led by Coimbatore City District Dmk Secretary N Karthik garlanded the statue of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar at Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore.

During the ceremony, drum beats, karagattam, sword-wielding and Silambattam were held. DMK general council members, deputy secretaries, mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, councillors, ward secretary Shanmugasundaram, Pasumpon Thevar Educational Development Trust office-bearers and others participated in the meeting.
