DMK's allies continue to work in alliance with Islamic fundamentalist organisations - Hindu Makkal Katchi

The Hindu Makkal Katchi has issued a statement condemning the arrest of Hindu Makkal Katchi members including Arjun Sampath for violating prohibitory orders in front of the Coimbatore collectorate against the car cylinder blast.

Coimbatore: Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath and several others have been arrested for protesting against the car cylinder blast in Coimbatore.

The Hindu Makkal Katchi has demanded their immediate release.

In a statement issued by the Hindu Makkal Katchi in this regard, “The Hindu Makkal Katchi staged protests across Tamil Nadu against the bomb blast in front of the Kottai Easwaran temple in Coimbatore.

Special pujas were performed at 10 am today at the Kottai Easwaran temple in Coimbatore. In this special pooja, Lord Shiva devotees participated in large numbers and worshipped by singing Thevara Pathigams.

During the previous DMK regime, DMK leaders, including M Ramanathan and C T Dhandapani, removed the Coimbatore KottaImedu police checkpost for muslim votes. It set back Coimbatore by 20 years due to the horrific events that followed.

The DMK government has been in power for 15 months. With the DMK in power, the influence of jihadis is on the rise again. DMK's allies like Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Communists and Dravida Kazhagams continue to work in alliance with Islamic religious fundamentalist organisations.

A series of bomb blasts took place in Coimbatore after the PFI was banned. The houses and offices of BJP and RSS functionaries were targeted. The DMK's allies blamed the BJP for staging the drama without a conscience.

The DMK government had banned the RSS rally, which could be held with the permission of the court. The sale of liquor was aimed at reducing the prestige of Diwali.

The chief minister did not wish on Diwali. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has not even condemned the blast in front of the Kottai Easwaran temple in Coimbatore.

They continue to insult Hinduism and hurt the sentiments of Hindus. No action has been taken so far against A Raja, Veeramani and others. The DMK government is unilaterally ruling against Hindus. There have been many temple demolitions during the DMK rule.

The DMK's allies have a good relationship with Islamic fundamentalist organisations and are promoting religious fundamentalist organisations. Encouraged by this, islamic fundamentalists have the courage to once again resort to terrorist activities.

There are reports that a palm factory is functioning in Kottaimedu. All this has come to light due to the explosion of a bomb suspected to have been taken away by jihadis to disrupt the Deepavali festival by the grace of Lord Easwaran.

At first, the gas cylinder in the car was smeared with an explosion. Then slowly the truth began to emerge. A bundle of explosives was recovered from the house of Jamesha Mubin, who died in the car bomb blast.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Talga (25), Mohammad Azharuddin (23), Mohammad Riyaz (27), Firoz Ismail (27) and Mohammad Nawaz Ismail (26).

Had it not been for the accidental explosion of the bomb by the grace of Kottai Easwaran, Coimbatore would have gone back another 20 years. A special prayer was offered at Kottai Easwaran temple at 9 am today on behalf of the Hindu Makkal Katchi to express gratitude to Kottai Easwaran.

Organisations like Naam Tamilar and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, which have been propagating that we are not Hindus, have not condemned the bomb attack on the 1,500-year-old Shiva temple so far. They did not visit the spot. Their double role is exposed from this.

Neither the Chief Minister, the DMK nor any other political party has condemned the blasts in Coimbatore so far. He did not visit the spot. There is a situation where Hindus are political orphans.

Only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has done well in protecting Hindus in this regard. If Coimbatore is to be protected, kongu state is the only solution under the rule of the national party. The fort should be graced by Easwaran, Ukkadam Lakshmi Narasimha and guardian deity Koni Amman.

A protest demonstration was held in front of the Coimbatore district collector's office under the leadership of the state president against the bomb blast in front of Kottai Easwaran temple in Coimbatore. The protest was held in all district headquarters across Tamil Nadu.

In the wake of the February 14, 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts, the footpath shops on both sides of the road leading to the Easwaran temple from Manikoondu Poompuhar to Kottai Easwaran Temple in Coimbatore were blocked.

With the cooperation of the Communist Party, the pavement shops are again functioning. The owners and workers of these shops are associated with religious fundamentalist organisations. Because of this, the temple is always in danger. According to reports, even the victim of the blast was working in such shops.

Due to this, the renovation work of the 1,000-year-old Fort Easwaran temple is being stopped. The renovation of the Rajagopuram of the temple has also been hampered.

On both sides of the road leading to the temple, these footpath shops are obstructing the devotees during the festive seasons and during the puja seasons including Pradosham. No efforts have been made to remove them.

The conspiracy of terrorists in Coimbatore has been foiled at the entrance of his temple by the grace of Kottai Easwaran. If this incident had happened, not only Coimbatore but also Tamil Nadu would not have tolerated it.

In the last seven years since Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India, he has been ruling India well without a single bomb blast incident.

But terrorist organisations in Tamil Nadu are gaining momentum and encouragement because the DMK regime is supportive of them. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should change his approach in this regard.

Supporting minorities is different, supporting terrorists is different and the chief minister has failed on this issue. Even after such a heinous incident took place in Coimbatore, Hindus are maintaining silence.

Hindu organisations have been extending full cooperation to the police and intelligence agencies. If the minister says normalcy has returned to Coimbatore, it is entirely because the Hindu movements are acting responsibly.

Nevertheless, we are conducting this moral struggle in a democratic manner to condemn this attack on Hindus. But the police have imposed a ban and arrested us.

The Tamil Nadu police acts as the wing of the DMK. We condemn the police. Hindu Makkal Katchi activists arrested across Tamil Nadu should be released immediately.
