Coimbatore: The High Level Committee, tasked with the objective to frame the Tamil Nadu State Education Policy by the State Government, held a meeting with the members of the Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges on Saturday and received their suggestions that would be considered while framing the draft for the State Education Policy.
The Chairman of the Committee Former Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi D.Murugesan and distinguished members of the academia who are members of this committee held this meeting with the Managing Trustees and Chief Executive Officers of 30 engineering colleges from the association and received their suggestions.
In this meeting members of the Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges submitted their suggestions for the State Education Policy, and they also said that State and Central Government have varied opinions over the syllabus outlines to be followed by Engineering Institutions, thus making the institutions feel confused over which outlines to follow. Hence, she said that clarification on this matter needs to be released.
S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions, Chairman of Excel Engineering College A.K. Natesan, CEO of Karpagam Engineering College Murugaiya, Chairman of SNS Engineering College Subramaniam, CEO of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College Ramkumar, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions Sundararaman were also present during this meeting.
