The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case against Yuvaraj, a native of Avalappampatti, near Pollachi, in connection with the accident in which his two-wheeler rammed into an elderly woman who was standing by the roadside after dumping garbage.
Coimbatore: Balasubramaniam is a resident of Kannampalayam in Kinathukadavu who lives with his wife Parvathi (68).
On the evening of October 6, a two-wheeler rammed into Parvathi who was standing near the dustbin opposite their house, after dumping garbage. Parvathi who was seriously injured in the incident was rushed by relatives to a private hospital in Pollachi for treatment.
A complaint was lodged at the Kinathukadavu police station on Wednesday night seeking action against the person who was riding the two-wheeler rashly. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against Yuvaraj, a native of Avalappampatti in Pollachi for causing the accident and injuring Parvathi.
