A number of volunteers were also given practical training on this exercise.
A practical demonstration was also given on the equipment that can be used by the Rescue Force during the disaster.
Similarly, awareness was created about how to use floats during floods as a means of escape.
The Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner M Prathap and a large number of people including the public watched the mock drill.
