Second term numeracy and literacy training was conducted for teachers in Pollachi to improve the basic academic skills of the students. The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has taken various steps to improve the academic performance of the students studying in primary schools in the State.
As a part of this, teachers are being imparted numerical and literacy training on how to deal with primary school students and how to conduct the first term education in such a way that the students can easily understand it.
Objective of second term literacy training for teachers:-

A three-day training programme on second-term literacy and numeracy was started for 215 teachers in 81 primary schools in Pollachi South Union yesterday.
As a step towards bridging the learning gap of students after the COVID-19 period and making students fully qualified by acquiring all the knowledge skills by 2025, the chief minister's dream project is being implemented. Students are showing more interest in coming to school after the first semester. The officer informed Poomba.
