Tirupur Mayor Dinesh Kumar met the 11 ailing children from the shelter home in Tirupur who are undergoing treatment at the Tirupur Government Hospital and enquired about their well-being.
Tirupur: The Mayor of Tirupur Corporation, Dinesh Kumar visited the Tirupur Government Hospital to enquire about the health condition of the 11 children undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital in Tirupur.

14 children from the Vivekananda Sevalayam shelter home in Tirupur took ill after their dinner at the home. Due to the negligence and indifference of the shelter home management, 3 of the 14 children died, while the remaining are presently undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital in Tirupur.

The Mayor enquired with the doctors about the treatment being given to the children and consoled the families of the children.

Subsequently, he distributed items including horlicks and fruits to the children undergoing treatment to gain physical strength and recover quickly.
