CBSE school administration dismisses student who took leave due to ill health in Tirupur; parents petition collector

A petition has been filed in the collector's office urging the district school administration to take action against the TC given to a student studying class 12 in Arulpuram's CBSE school to resume his education.

Tirupur: The student's mother has filed a complaint with the Collector demanding action against the CBSE school administration for issuing a substitute certificate to a class 12 student who took 10 days off from school due to ill health near Velliangadu.

Seethalakshmi hails from Velliangadu area of Tirupur district. Her son is studying 12th CBSE in a private school in Arulpuram area of Tirupur. In this case, during the last Vinayagar Chaturthi, the student took ten days off due to ill health, and the school management had alleged that their son was not qualified to continue his CBSE education and issued a replacement certificate.

They have sent back their son with hope that he will get a place in other schools. Relying on this, the student who studied in CBSE school when he went to other schools after obtaining a replacement certificate, was sent back saying that he could not be admitted in the school in between.

In this situation, the student's mother Sita Lakshmi filed a petition in the Tirupur District Collector's Office today, insisting that the school that suspended her son from school should take action against her son's school in the context of not being able to continue his education.
