Bellepalayam panchayat announces Rs.1,000 reward for catching the vehicle dumping poultry waste in their area

It was announced at the grama sabha meeting that a reward of Rs.1,000 will be given if the vehicle found dumping poultry waste without permission on the residential roadsides in Bellepalayam panchayat near Mettupalayam is caught by anyone.


Coimbatore: A reward of Rs.1,000 will be given to those catch the vehicle dumping poultry waste without permission in Bellepalayam panchayat near Mettupalayam.

Grama Sabha meetings were held in 17 panchayats under Karamadai panchayat union next to Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.

As part of this, a grama sabha meeting was held at Bellepalayam near Mettupalayam under the chairmanship of panchayat president Sivakumar. Karamadai Block Development Officer Gopal presided over the function.

At the meeting, it was announced that “Rs.1,000 would be given to those who caught the vehicles that dumped poultry waste on residential areas and roadsides under the panchayat limits.

Moreover, sanitation workers will have to segregate and purchase the garbage collected from the public.

The plastic waste will be purchased by the panchayat administration at a price of Rs.8 per kg. That amount will be paid as wages to the sanitation workers.

The seeds supplied to the farmers by the agriculture department officials are sterile. If you ask the officials in this regard, the agriculture officials who come to the field do not know how to give an alternative.

Employees at ration shops should provide quality goods to the public. Demands were also reiterated, including that no one should sell ration rice to the public.”

Similarly, grama sabha meetings were held under the leadership of president Gnanasekaran in Chikkarampalayam panchayat, Rangasamy in Iluppanatham and Sivakumar in Bellathi.
