Coimbatore:The Rotaract club of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women under RID 3201 worked on distinctive projects with the consideration of sustainable goals and other themes.
The club has been active for 15 years since its incorporation under the Rotary foundation. They celebrated the 15th charter day on 27 September 2022. On account of the 15th Charter day, the club has executed 15 projects.
While speaking with club directors, "We executed projects under various and wide themes such as Maram Valarpom: seed balls donation, Aval Paathi Aadai Paathi: Initiative to help transgenders, Ethirththu nil: suicide prevention action, Vidhai: Youth Empowerment, Eegai: Food donation, Making: Encouragement for the entrepreneurial journey by business women, Designocracy: UI/UX design inspired workshops for Rotaracters, Mozhi: Encouragement of sign languages.
We have also done Mudiya Uvamai Nee : a hair donation drive intending to support cancer patients. Apart from the above, we have done many celebrations for Onam and birthdays with a sprinkle of fun.
We have almost executed 15 projects on account of our 15th charter day. We are moving forward to serve society and celebrate them."
The constant efforts of volunteers and rotaractors has enabled many projects andimpacted many.
