Coimbatore: Southern Railway's 'Bharat Gaurav' train left Coimbatore for Shirdi yesterday.
The Southern Railway operates Bharat Gaurav trains in partnership with private parties to provide additional facilities to train passengers. So far, five trains have been run to several areas.
Subsequently, the sixth train was operated from Coimbatore Vadakovai station to Shirdi (Sainagar) yesterday.
The train will leave Tiruppur Erode, Salem, Yelahanka (Bengaluru) dharmavaram, Mandaralayam stations and reach Shirdi at 8.00 am on October 2.
Similarly, the train will leave Shirdi at 11 am on October 3 and reach Coimbatore at 3.00 pm on October 4, southern railway's Salem divisional officials said.
It is to be noted that the train operated yesterday has 14 coaches including first class AC, second and third class bed facility.
