Tirupur Mayor Dinesh Kumar presided over a meeting held on Wednesday and announced the appointment of a new advocate for the Corporation. As many as 64 resolutions were passed including the issuance of identity cards to street vendors.
Tirupur: A total of 64 resolutions were passed at a meeting with Councillors held in Tirupur, which was chaired by the Tirupur Corporation Mayor Dinesh Kumar, including the appointment of a new advocate for the Corporation.

Tirupur Corporation Mayor Dinesh Kumar chaired a meeting of the Councillors at the Corporation office here, on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Councillors, zonal officers and Corporation officials.

In this meeting, the appointment of a new lawyer for the corporation, setting up of high-powered light towers in the daily farmers' market and 64 resolutions were passed, including the issue of identity cards to street vendors.
