The camps were received with great enthusiasm and support by the public. Around 327 dogs were vaccinated at the camps and Dogs of Coimbatore also donated 500 doses of Anti-Rabies Vaccines to the Animal Husbandry Department.
Coimbatore: Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination camps organized by Dogs of Coimbatore (an initiative of the NGO Vajra Foundation in Association with the Animal Husbandry Department of Tamil Nadu) successfully conducted free Anti-Rabies Vaccination Camps for community dogs on September 28 and 29 at 9 static-point locations across Coimbatore with the support of the animal welfare organization, Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS).

The Free Vaccination programme was received with great enthusiasm and support by the public. Around 327 dogs were vaccinated at the camps.

Dogs of Coimbatore also donated 500 doses of Anti-Rabies Vaccines to the Animal Husbandry Department.
The vaccination camps were conducted at the following locations from 8.30 am to 1 pm on September 28 and 29.
1) Veterinary Polyclinic, Coimbatore.
2) Veterinary Hospital, Singanallur.
3) Veterinary Hospital, Saravanampatti.
4) Veterinary Hospital, Sundarapuram.
5) Veterinary Hospital, Thudiyalur.
6) Veterinary Hospital, Koundampalayam.
7) Veterinary Hospital, Peelamedu.
8) Veterinary Hospital, Vadavalli.
9) Veterinary Hospital, Vellakinar.
