Coimbatore: The 3rd day of Navaratri celebrations organised by Hum Hindu turned special, as BJP's Mahila Morcha President and City's South Constituency MLA Vanathi Srinivasan gave a surprise visit and celebrated the event along with the members here, on Thursday.
Pooja, Bajan and chanting of prayers marked the 3rd day of Navratri celebrations by Hum Hindu members.

MLA Vanathi Srinivasan who took part in the event was warmly greeted by the members with Aarti and tying of holy headband of Devi Durga.

Founder - State President Praful Sejpal, District President Purushottam, Mahila Wing functionaries - Pinky Rajpurohit, Sushmita Sirvi, Monika, Geeta, Khusboo and others of Hum Hindu interacted with Vanathi Srinivasan and briefed her about the ongoing Navratri celebrations.

Following which, MLA Vanathi Srinivasan danced to the tunes of garba dance by coupling them few steps from Tamil Nadu's tradition Kuyil Attam.

The spectators appreciated her gesture of taking part in the event and making it a memorable one.
