Coimbatore: In a headlong collision between a private bus and a goods auto, three people were killed at Ayyambalayam near Pollachi. The private bus overturned into a roadside coconut grove, injuring several passengers.
On Wednesday morning, a private bus from Gopalapuram near Pollachi in Coimbatore was heading towards Pollachi carrying school students and daily commuters to work. A private bus overtook the vehicle in front of it while approaching Ayyampalayam and rammed into a goods auto coming from the opposite direction.
