A car heading towards Peelamedu from Anna Silai and another Car which was making a U-turn rammed into each other. Meanwhile, a detached tyre from one of the car, hit on a two wheeler causing serious injuries to two employees of a hotel who were heading to work.
According to initial reports, a car heading towards Peelamedu from Anna Silai and another Car which was making a U-turn rammed onto each other. They cars reportedly were dragged on the streets after which it hit two other cars parked.
Moreover, a detached tyre from one of the car, hit on a two wheeler causing serious injuries to two employees of a hotel who were heading to work.
Mathiyalagan (42) and Ashok (25), who were working as security guard and parking attendant at a private same hotel, were rushed to Coimbatore GH for treatment.
Upon information, the racecourse police rushed to the spot and cleared the cars to the side of the road.
A case has been registered and investigations are underway. Traffic was affected due to the car collision on the busy Avinashi road.
