A consultative meeting was held with party executives regarding the September 16th protest by the ADMK leadership across Tamil Nadu against the hike in electricity tariff, under the leadership of Tirupur Municipal District Secretary, Pollachi Jayaraman.
Tirupur: The former Deputy Speaker of Pollachi and current Tirupur Municipal District Secretary, Pollachi Jayaraman has stated that Chief Minister Stalin will be taught a proper lesson through ADMK's signature drive among the public for a month against the DMK Government with regard to the hike in electricity tariff.
While the District Secretaries have been notified to hold a demonstration on September 16 on behalf of the AIADMK leadership across Tamil Nadu against the hike in electricity tariff, Tirupur Metropolitan District AIADMK, former Deputy Speaker, Pollachi Legislative Assembly Member and Tirupur Municipal District Secretary Pollachi Jayaraman consulted with party officials regarding the demonstration. During the consultative meeting, various resolutions were passed.
Speaking at the meeting, Pollachi Jayaraman said that the time will come when the DMK leader M K Stalin, like Sri Lankan President Rajapakse, will have to flee overnight with his family. "In the scenario where people can now recover after the Corona lockdown, the public has been greatly affected by the increase in house tax, property tax, electricity tariff etc. People will teach them the right lesson. A signature drive will be conducted against the DMK Government for a month by distributing leaflets to the public and sending it to the Governor to teach Chief Minister M K Stalin a proper lesson.
Public participation should be in large numbers for the demonstration we are holding in Tirupur that the entire Tamil Nadu should turn and look back in awe of this massive demonstration in Tirupur against the Government. The Tirupur North Assembly member K N Vijayakumar, former Assembly members S Gunasekaran, N S N Natarajan, MLAs Kannappan, Anbakam Tirupati and many other ADMK functionaries attended the consultative meeting.
