The awareness rally was organised in association with Manam Foundation and Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital and was marked by students taking out a procession on the main streets of Coimbatore carrying placards.
Coimbatore: Even as September 10 was marked as World Suicide Prevention Day, over 200 students of the Government Medical College and Hospital in Coimbatore took out an awareness rally.
The rally was organised in association with Manam Foundation and Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital and the students carried placards on prevention of suicides.
The awareness rally was flagged of by the CMCH Dean, Dr. Nirmala from the premises of the Coimbatore Government Hospital on Monday morning and passed through the Coimbatore District Collectorate via the railway station and then moved past the Court to culminate at the Coimbatore Government Hospital premises.
