Coimbatore: The corporation of Coimbatore had constructed a public toilet in the Ammankulam area. While it is for both men and women, the construction is made in a way that allows two individuals to sit side by side to use and has no doors in between. This design has taken created a furore among citizens.
In one part of the construction, there are no doors between two adjacent toilets, which makes it unusable by the people. The purpose of this design with two seats adjacent to each other is unknown. People say this cannot be used without the doors even if it is built for children.
