On September 15, the birth anniversary of Perarignar Anna is to be celebrated across Tamil Nadu and all 13 arrested in connection with the 1998 Coimbatore bomb blasts, those sentenced to life imprisonment in sedition cases and those connected to the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case are expected to be released by the Tamil Nadu Government.
Manikandan, Founder President of the Hindustan Makkal Sevai Iyakkam and the office bearers arrived at the Coimbatore District Collectorate to submit the petition and requested the District Collector to also forward the petition to M K Stalin, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
