A YouTube channel in the name of Kovai 360 Degrees, in the name of Prank Videos, were trying to tarnish public dignity without the consent of the public. A case has been registered for behaving in a manner that is physically and mentally harassing.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Cyber Crime Police have taken action against a YouTube channel in the name of 'Prank Video' for allegedly harassing the public physically and mentally, without any consent with the public and causing disrepute to their dignity.
A case has been registered against the YouTube channel "Kovai 360 Tikari" as per 39/2022 U/s 354D IPC & 4 of TNPHW Act r/w 66E IT Act.
It is to be noted that Coimbatore City Police Commissioner V Balakrishnan had warned yesterday that legal action would continue to be taken against those who unnecessarily harass the public in connection with prank videos.
