New President appointed for The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore

B Sriramulu, Managing Director, Sri Kannapiran Mills Ltd, Coimbatore has been unanimously elected as President of The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore for the term 2022 - 2024.


Coimbatore: The 88th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore was held on 29th August 2022 at Chamber Towers, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

B Sriramulu, Managing Director, Sri Kannapiran Mills Ltd, Coimbatore has been unanimously elected as President of The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore for the term 2022 - 2024.

B Sriramulu obtained M.Sc Textiles Degree from University of Manchester UK and has done B. Tech degree in Textile Technology in PSG College of Technology.

He was the Vice President of our Chamber from 2018 – 2022.

He is Managing Director of KG Denim Ltd and Director of Danalakshmi Paper Mills.

He was Director of KG Denim Ltd since 1999 - 2002, Vice President since 1994 - 1996 and President since 1996 - 1998.

Responsible for the Management and Profitability of the Company, his responsibilities include sourcing of the Raw Materials, Managing a Team of Professionals in Manufacturing and Product Development and Directing the Sales team to maximize the sales of High margin products.

Instrumental in Conceiving and Launching of the Brand Trigger Jeans in India and also in driving its sales to become one of largest domestic Jeans Brand. Launched the business of Home Textiles in 2006 as a diversification strategy.

Representing our Chamber, he serves as Member of various Committees formed by State and Central Government.
