Instead of threatening to stage protests if the venue of the new Vellalore bus stand is shifted, Minister Senthil Balaji said that EPS should make himself clear on how much fund allocation was made for the new bus terminal at Vellalore and how much was spent for the purpose.

While answering the allegation of EPS, that welfare measures were given to the same persons who were given assistance during the AIADMK government,he said the truth is the DMK government has extended welfare which the AIADMK could not do.
Around 1.41 lakh petitions were received during various events with regard to fulfilling of basic amenities like roads. The road conditions in many places are abysmal which shows the inefficiency of the AIADMK government, which prided on achieving 50 years of growth in five years.
Also, clarifying that the former AIADMK government had not allocated any funds to the Vellalore integrated bus terminus project, he said that it was implemented by the city Corporation from its own funds. Only to gain publicity, EPS is giving interviews without analysing facts, Senthil Balaji alleged.
