Responding to the minor's father via twitter, the TN Police dept have alerted the Coimbatore City Cyber Cell who along with railway police have formed teams and are looking out for the missing girl and the kidnappers.
Coimbatore: Special teams have been formed by Coimbatore Railway Police and City Cyber Crime Cell under instructions from Police Commissioner Balakrishnan to trace the minor girl who has been kidnapped from Lucknow.
According to Tamil Nadu Police Headquarters, the father of the kidnapped girl from Lucknow had tweeted that his minor daughter had been kidnapped from Lucknow, and the kidnappers had made calls from Coimbatore.
The aggrieved father in his tweet had also attached the FIR filed at the Lucknow police station, along with his 12-year-old daughter's photo and taggedTamil Nadu police and railway dept.
Tamil Nadu Police, which responded to the Tweet acted swiftly and alerted the Coimbatore Police Commissioner to take urgent action to trace the girl, following which special teams were formed under the instruction of the Police Commissioner.
A hunt is on to trace the kidnappers and rescue the abducted minor girl.
