Unidentified miscreants reportedly broke open the front door of the house and looted six sovereigns of gold jewellery from the cupboard, including a chain and a ring.
Coimbatore: Sreenivasan hails from Ganga Nagar near Neelambur in Coimbatore but works as an engineer in Uzbekistan. His wife Sandhya (32) lives in the Neelambur area of Coimbatore and takes tuition for students.
On the day of the burglary, Sandhya had locked the house and gone to her hometown Udumalai. Unidentified miscreants reportedly broke open the front door of Sandhya's house and looted six sovereigns of gold jewellery from the cupboard, including a chain and a ring.
On returning home, Sandhya found the front door broken open. When she went inside the house, she found that six sovereigns of gold jewellery had been looted from the cupboard. Sandhya immediately lodged a complaint with the Sulur police regarding the burglary. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the miscreants.
