Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prathap conducted a surprise inspection at Ward No. 45, Saibaba Colony, Chinna Subbanna Road.
The CCMC Commissioner also supervised and questioned the sanitary workers if work was being done properly in public places, every day.
He also instructed the sanitary workers on the collection and segregation of garbage, and to compulsorily sort out the garbage to ensure smooth recycling. He also encouraged the public in the area to report without hesitation any grievance they may have.
Following this, the CCMC Commissioner inspected the construction works of Urban Welfare Center at Saibaba Kalani, Annai Satya Nagar which was being done at an estimated cost of Rs. 25 lakhs. He encouraged the workers to expedite the work.
West Zone Assistant Commissioner Shekhar and Assistant Executive Engineer Hemalatha were also present at the inspection.
