Coimbatore: Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar received 26 petitions at a public Grievance Redressal Meeting held at the main office of the Coimbatore Corporation. The Mayor directed the officers to take immediate action on the various demands made in the petitions.

Deputy Commissioner Sharmila also participated in the Grievance Redressal Meeting and interacted with the public from various areas under the Corporation.
The public who participated in this meeting submitted 26 petitions to Mayor Kalpana regarding birth, death certificates, road facilities, electricity, drinking water facility, underground sewer, business tax, property tax, vacancy tax, name change, medicine, health, education etc. Mayor Kalpana who received the petitions directed the concerned Zonal Assistant Commissioners, engineers and officers to immediately take appropriate action on the petitions.
The Town Planning Officer Karupattal, Zonal Assistant Commissioners Annadurai, Mohanasundari, Muthuramalingam and others were also present at the meeting.
