The nutritionists of 90 schools in Valparai were advised on the health of students at the consultation meeting.
Coimbatore: A consultation meeting was held on Tuesday for nutrition organizers working in 90 schools in the Valparai area. More than 180 people like nutrition organizers, cooks and helpers participated in this consultation meeting held by the Municipality.
Municipal Manager Jaluddin attended this consultation meeting and advised the nutritionists that school children should be well taken care of. "After cooking the food, the staff should eat it first and then serve it to school children. Only boiled water should be given to drink and water filled in the water tank should be cleaned every week and fresh water should be used for cooking. Clean vegetables thoroughly and then cook, and serve only hygienic food items to students," advised Jaluddin.
