A public consultation meeting is being held under the chairmanship of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairman Chandrasekhar at a private college (SNR) auditorium in Nava India area of Coimbatore.
Public consultation on petitions for determination of electricity tariff and other charges for the period 2022-23 to 2026-27 of Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO), Tamil Nadu Power Transmission Corporation (TANTRASCO) and State Load Sharing Center (SLDC) are under discussion.

Over 500 participants comprising industrialists, those from Small and Micro Industries and the public in Coimbatore district participated and presented their views and also handed over their grievances in the form of petitions.
Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairman Chandrasekhar, Member Venkatesan, Secretary Veeramani, Director Srinivasan, Prabhakaran and Manokaran heard out the petitions and recorded their views.
