Celebrating the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, 75 students from the Government Arts College in Valparai stood with the national flag to pay their respects to the freedom fighters and the freedom struggle.
More than 300 people from the Valparai Government Arts College premises took out a rally that kick-started at the Government Arts College, passed through the main road to the Gandhi Statue bus stand and then returned to the college premises.

The Valparai Government Arts College Principal, Selvamuthu Kumarasamy highlighted the significance and the glory of the national flag. Valparai Municipality PresidentAlagusundaravalli and other Municipal officials participated in the function and presented the national flag to the students.
