The public are seen planting national flags in their homes and political parties are hoisting the national flags at their party offices.
Coimbatore: Acting on the instructions of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to all Indian citizens to plant the national flag in their homes on Aug 13, 14 and 15 ahead of the 75th Independence Day celebrations on August 15, the BJP Auto Drivers' Association of Ramnagar planted national flags at the roundabout, opposite the Coimbatore District Collectorate.
On Saturday, the public was seen planting national flags in their homes and political parties were hoisting the flags at their party offices. The BJP cadres have also planned various programs and for the past 10 days, the cadres have been distributing the national flag to the public and creating awareness.
The BJP cadres also planted national flags at various places across Coimbatore city.
