According to sources, the air- carrier with 92 passengers on board had to make the emergency landing as the smoke detection alarm went off in the aircraft.
Coimbatore: Bengaluru- Male passenger flight made an emergency landing at the Coimbatore airport following alleged technical snags developed in the passenger aircraft.

According to sources, the "Go First" air- carrier with 92 passengers on board had to make the emergency landing as the smoke detection alarm went off in the aircraft as soon as it took off from Bengaluru airport.
The pilots contacted the air traffic control at Cochin and requested to make the emergency landing there. However the aircraft was diverted to Coimbatore on the advice of Air traffic control, Cochin.
Fire tenders were kept in readiness for the emergency landing and a thorough check is being carried out in the aircraft. Reports say that the passengers were not deboarded from the aircraft.
