Anti-Drug pledge administered to Coimbatore College students

In Coimbatore City, the District Collector and Commissioner of Police administered the pledge to college students at an event held at a private college here, on Thursday.


Coimbatore: Across Tamil Nadu, the anti-drug pledge has been administered to transform the state free of drugs.



In Coimbatore City, the District Collector and Commissioner of Police administered the pledge to college students at an event held in Hindustan College here, on Thursday.

Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin administered the pledge to district collectors, SPs and Police commissioners through video conference from Kalaivanar arangam, Chennai, the pledge was further administered in the educational institutions across the state. The CM also instituted a special task force to check drug sale and abuse in the state under the aegis of Prohibition and Drug control departments on the occassion.



As per the orders of the SP Badrinarayanan, police officials administered the pledge to school students at various places in the city.



While DIG Muthusamy administered the pledge to SNS Engineering engineering students and SP Badrinaryanan administered the oath to Nehru college students, here.



An awareness about the ill effects of drug usage were inculcated to the students community on the occasion.
