Coimbatore Police man rescues old woman who mistakenly consumed "distilled water" used for batteries

Constable Sridhar attached to the Race Course Police station had spotted an old woman in a swooning condition on his way to work. He immediately shifted the woman to Coimbatore GH for treatment.


Coimbatore: A police man who had rescued an old woman after she had consumed " distilled water" and got her admitted in a hospital, attracted the praise of many onlookers.

Constable Sridhar attached to the Race Course Police station had spotted an old woman in a swooning condition on his way to work. He was found an emptied distilled water bottle was lying near her.



Sridhar, who acted with alacrity not only gave her first aid but also arranged for 108 ambulance to transport her to the Coimbatore Medical college hospital, where she was admitted for treatment.

It came to light that the homeless

old woman had drunk the distilled water used for batteries, mistakenly. The good samaritan act of cop has won appreciations.
