Following this, more than 100 members of the Hindu Munnani led by the state executive committee member Satish, besieged the Podanur police station and started a protest, accusing the police of falsely filing a case against the Hindu Munnani executive without arresting those who came with the intention of conversion.

They raised slogans condemning the police for acting in an one sided manner. Subsequently, when the police engaged in talks with the Hindu Munnani executives, they demanded the immediate arrest of the three who had propagated religious conversion.
When the police denied their allegations, they said that they will take part in a protest demonstration in Podanur tomorrow under the leadership of the state president, emphasizing the same demands.
