In Tirupur district, a total of 4,697 candidates in Tirupur city, 4,642 in Avinashi, 6,157 in Dharapuram, 4,761 in Kangayam, 1,875 in Madathukulam, 1,628 in Uthukuli, 3,766 in Palladam, 6,584 in Tirupur North, 6,981 in Tirupur South and 7,054 in Udumalpet are appearing for the exam.

The TNPSC exam will be conducted across the district at 147 centres. As many as 166 Chief Superintendents have been appointed to supervise the exam. A total of 43 mobile monitors, 16 flying squads, 174 videographers and 166 supervisors will be deployed to monitor the exam. All arrangements have been made at the examination centres across the district to conduct the Group 4 exam smoothly

For students who arrived at the examination centres in the morning, their documents were verified and then they were sent to the examination room. Police security has been beefed up at the examination centres ahead of the exam.
