Coimbatore: On August 5, the private train from Coimbatore to Shirdi will be operated again. Under the Central Government's 'Bharat Gaurav' scheme, private contractors are given permission to operate trains.
On June 13, for the first time in the country, a private train was operated from Coimbatore via Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Andhra Pradesh and Mandiralaya to Shirdi through the company 'South Star'. Following the passenger reception, the company has decided to operate the Sirdi train from Coimbatore again on August 5.
