44th Chess Olympiad - Kovai Ukkadam Periyakulam I LOVE KOVAI sign sports chess squares!

As the inauguration dates for Chess Olympiad is nearing, the number of activities to raise awareness about it has also picked up. Ukkadam Periyakulam I LOVE KOVAI sign has been changed to black and white like a chess board, attracting the general public.


Coimbatore: On the occasion of the 44th International Chess Olympiad in Coimbatore, Ukkadam Periyakulam has been changed to I LOVE KOVAI- black and white colors and is attracting the general public.

The 44th International Chess Olympiad begins on July 28 at Mamallapuram. In this regard, on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government, awareness is being created throughout Tamil Nadu in various ways.

In Coimbatore district as well, the district administration and the municipal corporation administration are creating various awareness activities. As a part of that, the chess board colors have now been changed to I LOVE KOVAI colored letters in Ukkadam PeriyaKulam.

Under the Coimbatore Smart City scheme, Ukkadam Periyakulam has been rehabilitated with footpaths, parks and children's playgrounds. The words I LOVE KOVAI placed there has become a signature attraction for many people of Coimbatore.

In the evenings, it is lit up with colorful lights, which attracts everyone, both children and adults. Now with the Chess Olympiad around the corner, it has been lit up with the black and white colors of the chess board to create awareness about it, and it is attracting the general public.
