To commemorate the year of India's 75th Independence, the Tirupur railway station has been renamed as Thyagi Tirupur Kumaran Railway Station by the railway administration.
Tirupur: The Tirupur railway administration has named the Tirupur railway station as Tyagi Tirupur Kumaran railway station to commemorate India's 75th year of Independence.
The Central and State governments are taking various measures to honour the sacrifices of freedom fighters this year. As a part of this, the railway administration named the Tirupur railway staton as Tyagi Tirupur Kumaran Railway Station and placed the name board at the railway station.
Also, to honour the memory of Tirupur Kumaran, a photo exhibition and selfie booth of Tirupur Kumaran has been set up at the railway station for the public.
