Private bus driver attacked by locals for ramming into two-wheeler on Pollachi Road in Coimbatore

The video of the driver caught amidst irate locals is going viral on social media.


Coimbatore: A private bus driver was attacked by a group of locals after he rammed into a two-wheeler on Pollachi Road.

The private bus (SRK) was reportedly headed to Coimbatore from Udumalpet via Pollachi and Kinathukadavu and was speeding near Sundarapuram. Near Rathinam College, the bus rammed into a two-wheeler causing the riders to be thrown off the vehicle.

The two-wheeler got stuck under the front portion of the bus and the injured riders were provided with first-aid by passers-by.



Meanwhile, the driver of the bus was attacked by a motorist with his helmet.
