Coimbatore: In his Guru Pournami address that was relayed live from the Isha Institute of Inner Sciences, in Tennessee, USA, Sadhguru, the Founder of Isha Foundation highlighted the importance of people raising their human consciousness.
Explaining the significance of the full moon on Guru Pournami, Sadhguru said that the moon is closest to the earth on this Pournami amidst all the Pournamis in the year. He said it renders the human system receptive to the gravitational pull of the moon.
Sadhguru emphasised that human beings must consciously choose to be in a pleasant state during this time as one’s emotions are amplified due to the influence of the moon. Hundreds of people braved the rains and thunderstorms to attend the Satsangh at the Isha Institute. The Satsangh was telecast live and was watched by more than 5,00,000 people around the world.
Thousands of people from across Tamil Nadu visited Dhyanalingam, Linga Bhairavi and Adiyogi at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. A traditional cultural performance by tribal folk artists and the Linga Bhairavi Yatra drew large crowds to the Yoga Center.
