In a shocking incident, a two-wheeler rider was killed in an accident on the Ramanathapuram new flyover that was recently opened on the Coimbatore-Trichy Road.
Coimbatore: A two-wheeler rider fell tragically to his death on the newly-opened Coimbatore-Trichy Road Ramanathapuram flyover on Thursday. The accident comes close on the heels of two other people who had also died while speeding on their two-wheelers, which has further shocked the public in the city.

The deceased rider has been identified as Anandakumar (42) who was heading toward Singanallur before he lost control and hit the retaining wall of the flyover. Having been thrown off his two-wheeler due to the impact, Anandakumar died on the spot. The traffic police are investigating.
